David Ng's Bio:
DAVID NG - SENIOR LEADER: I am a senior leader seeking an opportunity to leverage my skill sets in guiding product engineering and information technology organizations in scaling to their fullest potential.
Over my career, I have worn many “hats” in honing my expertise in leading product development and IT operations across multiple industries. My experience spans industry giants Apple and IBM, as well as hyper-growth organizations such as INS. I balance keen technology acumen with a global mindset and knowledge of how technology systems support and integrate with the business.
► MOTIVATIONAL TEAM LEADER: My leadership focus has been on building teams with complimentary skill sets and then leveraging those skills to maximize productivity. I am committed to attracting, retaining, and grooming top talent and future leaders, and I have successfully groomed people from individual contributors to managers.
► GLOBALLY AWARE PEOPLE MANAGER: Having managed and deployed systems in over 19 countries, I am familiar with the local laws and business customs in Singapore, Japan, China, Australia, North America, and the European Union. I have also managed geographically dispersed teams in India and Europe to serve customers worldwide.
► APPLE DEVELOPER & PIONEER: With 7 years at Apple, I participated in delivering new product offerings on the Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Working at the infancy stage of emerging technologies, I developed applications to take ideas from conception to reality.
I offer a distinct advantage to technology and retail organizations – both Fortune 500 and startups – in need of a strong and decisive technology leader who can guide product development and information technology initiatives to meet strategic business goals.
